this is the first christmas without lola ming. because of that, things changed but the spirit truly remained. we attended the last night of simbang gabi and we got home at around 12:00 AM. we took home two lessons that our beloved bishop shared: to have a simple life and to appreciate rather than manipulate. when bishop told this, i felt the andrean spirit for he is such an exemplary andrean. after that, we had noche buena and gift giving.

the proper day of christmas itself was spent first at the angelus. we visited lola ming. we also prayed for her soul and reminisced the times when we spent her christmas with her. we went straight to carsadang bago to have our lunch there with the whole virata and papa families.

we spent the rest of the day at anabu and giggled so much because of the gigs we had. i even won the first prize in a contest. therefore, it made me a thousand peso richer among my cousins ;)

second term of second year had been so unexpected. it gave so much stress. yet, it never forgot to grant so much relief. so much relief.

here are the grades in the subject i am officially enrolled at:

biocom1 - 4.0
lbybios - 4.0
sysdev1- 3.5
intract- 3.5
market1- 3.5
deveweb- 2.0 (thank you ms. rhia trogo and mr. danny cheng!)
GPA: 3.344

CONGRATULATIONS CAMSIE! upon arriving home, i recomputed ypur GPA and it amounted to 2.969. from what i know, this grade shall be rounded off to three. so, you're a candidate to be a dean's lister.
I ALSO CONGRATULATE REENA for getting 3.9 GPA. well, there's nothing new with this anyway.

what a term it has been! whew!

indeed it was. the last day was spent with the somewhat complex accounting test. right after, we headed to world trade center to check out the "celebrity bazaars". i only took home a headband for mom and bought nothing for myself.

i wanna wish camille a safe and happy trip to cagayan! enjoy your long break and don't forget to treasure every moment of it!

reena, i forgot my jacket in your car. please bring it on the 19th of december, our official course card day as stated in mylasalle. by the way, thanks for the ride! :)

kuya had a date with paula today and when i asked where, he said, "serendra". the name rang a bell. correct, it was the name of the place where sonja's cupcakes is located. i just read it from a food magazine. therefore, i urged him to take home cupcakes for me.

he left home at around 10 am he arrived at almost 11 pm. well, the long wait was worth it when i saw the box.

and i sinfully ate all of them. all of them. unfortunately, the flourless chocolate cupcake which melts in the mouth so deliciously was not available. so, the next target is to visit its bakeshop and taste its best seller and check out its new-york style interior. after which, krispy kreme donuts is just across and so it would be a nice deal to try their donuts because i still haven't at this time.

yesterday, we went at greenhills to check out the night bazaar and to watch the life-size depiction of jesus' birth. well, i had more passion to walk and check all the stalls than to sit and watch the play. hahaha.

one more test in accounting and the term is over. all events happened in just a blink.

i arrived mall of asia 45 minutes after 10 am. it was a good thing that carla and ema saw me and it was the best thing that i made a deal to the boys at their back so that i could cut the loooooooooong line patiently waiting to go inside the premiere cinema. hahaha. anyway, of all the speakers, the one that captured my attention was AVID LIONGOREN. he is an illustrator slash graphic designer slash ninja slash commercial and music video editor. of course, team manila was the best.
