We have been through lots of things, events, catastrophes and as well as triumphs in a blink this year. All of them will soon become memories of the past that are to be written in our life’s history. Most of us can’t deem that we survived another year that has brought us so many zigzags which required us to choose a path and from there, start all over again until we see what we are looking for. I may have chosen the wrong path but definitely I hope will lead me to a haven that I am searching for the rest of my life.

I can hear the big BANGS around this little town. I can smell the smoke so I prepared my anti-asthma medicine. I can hear children blowing their horn or what they call “torotot”. I can feel the warmth in my heart family reunion brings. These are symbols that people are about to welcome the New Year with a big hope for prosperity, peace and most of all love. People from all over the world make New Year’s resolutions and so all are delighted to see the new person he or she will become. I just hope that those resolutions will not be made to be broken.

This morning, I received a call that almost killed me. I thought “we” will welcome the New Year in the hospital. I don’t want to say here what happened. I can only utter that the Lord God is really miraculous and at the same time a real savior. In everything we do, I ascertain that He is with us, never gets tired of guiding us. So for God, You certainly rock! J

I wonder what things are in store for me for the coming year. I just pray that all will go well and I will realize more the love that my parents give me. I also want to study harder than I did this year but not to the point of disregarding my health.

2006 is the year of the dog. Hmmm, I guess feng-sui will come back to the limelight as Ms. Joy Lim of Charms and Crystals introduces various ways of becoming a pretty bit auspicious person. For most of us, New Year symbolizes a time of renewal of faith and personality. New Year is like a piece of cake that is to be chosen and eaten by a blindfolded person. Assuming there are two cakes, one blueberry cheesecake (yum!) and a sour calamansi cake (yuck!) and you choose to eat the blueberry cheesecake, then, how lucky you are! You’ll feast on the delightful taste that the cake brings. But if you accidentally choose the yucky cake, then, suffer the consequence! Life offers various challenges. It’s just a matter of choice and luck that make the combination effective. Be ready for you might have chosen the yummy cake today but tomorrow, you might choose to eat the yucky cake.

So, I wish all of us to eat more blueberry cheesecakes this coming New Year!

don't lose hope because hope is the only thing we've longed for.

maybe christmas would be happier if we have snow

this coming christmas would be a very mysterious one.

i wonder how people would make the most out of it because of so many problems that the country faces.

on the other hand, it's not the price of the gift nor the sumptuous food in the table that matters.

what matters most is the love which roots from the birth of Jesus.

isn't it enough to celebrate because it is the most special day for Jesus Christ?

i think that one is well enough.

christmas is all about love.

it's about making love and thereby proclaiming peace in the world.

okay, okay...

peach mango pie is really good.

i bet i can eat 3 of it!

i just had a plain day at home.

Today is the first blog here in blogspot.

It’s not new because I have a blog in friendster.

Full of emotions.

Full of miseries.

And of course, full of happiness.

Those memories seem to shape myself.

Me aND myself.

Yesterday was a day at school.

Everybody could smell the course cards!

Course cards.

We were finished at around 9:30 I think.

We waited until 5:30 (supposed to be 3:40) in the Miguel building for the very last card we’ve waited.

now, I can’t explain the feeling of accomplishment.

I mean, after all the labor you’ve put in a work and see the results as what you have expected.

Thank god He helped me.

He helped me to be in the list.

Today, yes today.

It’s just a typical day at home relaxing with yummy brownies.

But I want blueberry cheesecake.

I swear I’ll gain some weight.

That’s all I think.
