i don't know why i did not accept my tita's invitation to swim at a resort somewhere.
so instead, we went to the mall - megamall. i was very happy ;)
and i don't even know why i don't want to swim and get wet all day long.
weirdo.

Friday, April 21, 2006//

there are a handful of things i can do while at home...
1. watch 50 new DVDs i discovered in the shelf
2. go to garden and do the watering of the plants (as mom has always told me to do so but rarely do i go)
3. talk with angel
4. hang out with lui, carlo and yeye
5. read philosophical books
6. play photoshop (reena's term)
7. plan swimming with the family
8. yell and join a crowd of people at the basketball court
9. surf till you drop

//anyway, i went to the school today and attended the seminar for the finance people of organizations at school. i was with inna and mae ;) there are a lot of paperworks. from now on, i would be like ninong onie, "resibo, asan?"... the receipt must be with TIN to reimburse in case you have to shell out. pag wala, "GOOD LUCK!" as the speaker said.

Goin back...

i can't remember anything special last saturday.

anyway, last sunday, we had lunch at wah sun then went to market market.
camsie, there's a stall there which sells the pastel bread.

anyway, monday was course card day and all had butterflies in the stomach.
to sum up, my course cards look like this:

//hutecin-4.0
//engltwo-4.0
//relsone-4.0
//anmath1-3.0
//pegroups-3.5
//nstp C2-3.0
//netcomm-1.5
(gggggrrrrr!)
GPA: 3.324 ( i could have been in the dean's list again but netcomm grade did not cooperate with the bandwagon)

sir russel could have pulled up my grade and his email looked like this:
"i'm very sorry because we already passed the final grade at 8 pm. i hope you can understand."

if only i saw him in the afternoon.
oh well that's life. the butter side: hey dude, my GPA increments as the trimester goes on and on.
CGPA: 3.061
at least an honorable mention and can help with my future GPAs.

// too much about school. so there. frosh life in dlsu is finally over. may 22 will be marked as the first day we'll ever be called sophies.
//after gettin all the course cards, zyon, abby and ram invited me and reena to go to glorietta. actually for reena and i, it was sort of a roadtrip. anyway, at least, we had fun.
//reena and i went back to school and i patiently waited there until mom texted me informing me that they were already near dlsu.

then we went to cubao to attend the graduation party of my first ever cousin who just graduated with a nursing degree at FEU. we celebrated and had some sort of wildest family reunion at seafood island.
okay you're getting bored, i can smell... so here, just look at some pictures:

+++ Good Friday +++
Friday, April 14, 2006//

yesterday,
we had the ritual of visita iglesia.
but this year, the trip was totally different and with some sort of twists and turns.
instead of going to churches in the tagaytay region, we headed to manila.
the church that i appreciated the most was of course, a nearby cathedral here in imus cavite, where we last dropped by and prayed (actually, i just did signs of the cross and i never prayed hard cause my cousins were too clumsy, noisy and everything).
when i visited reena's blog, i just knew that it happened that we were at the same churches.
actually, i was somehow thinkin of you bettina and i imagined the laughtrip we'll have if you could only see the manangs i saw.
and one thing i forgot. i forgot to bring my camera. so i just abused carlo's cam! i love it! it has a very wide screen! i'll get my pictures and maybe post them here some time this vacation.

today,
i woke up early considering that i got home at around 12 am.
we had lunch at taal vista hotel in tagaytay. the heat of the summer outweighed the cold breeze in the place.

//taal vista hotel garden views

so, we had lunch there and spent most of my time goin back to that table full of blessings. it was in a buffet setting and eat-all-you-can till you drop! so, i had to prove that it was indeed practical to pay me as a head. hahaha. and i ate a LOT! magugulat kayo reena and camsie sa may 22! hahaha!

// trying to open our eyes as the strong wind opposes us

// gab loves bunny faces

ethnic dances filled in the restaurant and i had no choice but to watch. the most incredible dance i have ever seen goes someting like this...

//gab: "i bet those stuffs will fall"
but he was wrong.

then, we headed straight to the resthouse in tagaytay. it has been a long time since i last visited this place.

//garden and the sala. they were chillin out while i took some pictures secretly.

we bought buko and ube pie at rowena's. they have the best products, i bet. buko pie was so yummmmmmyyy! :D

and of course, we watched the prusisyon back in cavite where there were a lot of manangs uttering those tagalog prayers. there were 44 statues commemorating the passion and death of jesus christ. and of course, i took some pictures and some teens were saying, "sayang, nakasimangot pala ako!". as if i wanted to have their faces developed. all those people were staring at me and i didn't know why. it's not a crime to take pictures anyway. caviteño kamo!

//some of my favorite blessed statues. i wonder whose caviteños own these.

it has been a long time since i last went to the garden. now that i have all the time, my ego told me to do so and taking pictures would be nice i guess. note: i was supposed to edit the images but i only finished one. hahaha. sorry.

flowers and fresh mangoes are all bearing beauty because of mom.

due to juergen's appeal
Monday, April 10, 2006//

okay. okay. from now on juergen, you'll never hear jesus, take the wheel when you go to my blog. hahaha! :D unless you scan through the archives of the site.

// well, well... what a great way to start monday. prayer session care of the girl who celebrated her debut, miss brenda. peace miss.
//there were a lot of people in the bank. a lot. so i decided not to join the bandwagon ;)
//i sleeepppttt long at home and it felt so good.

Sunday, April 09, 2006//

i should have brought the camera to take pictures of how filipinos celebrate palm sunday. anyway, i was so happy because lolo decided to have lunch at kimpura. yuuuummm. then, bought some toiletries with isay! hahaha! hmmmm, quickly's taro was so refreshing after strolling the mall. then, had dinner at outback.

//snickers, anyone?!?

Saturday, April 08, 2006//

started the day by taking the very last test of the term, and that goes to anmath or CALCULUS... that test had caused me butterfies in my stomach... anyway, the lighter side of the story is that it's over... no more test and no more deliverable to pass... except for a class in relsone i need to attend on monday...

//so, the gimik started when we (zyon, reena, camille and i) all decided to have lunch at bluewave in diosdado macapagal road. we ate at max's where we saw miss mavic :D ... and reena kept on laughing because of the old man trying to pour the ketchup on the plate... hahaha! ay c camsie, di ako binili havaianas! hmmmp!and then, road trip all the way to alabang town center and had some sort of window shopping........................ starring: ADAM sandler. you have to say it with poise! ahahaha!
//then, reena brought us to alabang country club and treated us! thank you sooooo much reena! we had so much fun because of you.
//when i got home, i laid in my bed and felt some sort of relief...
//thank you lord!
//now is the right time to have faith. all i know is that i did my best and all i can do is hope :)

Thursday, April 06, 2006//

back to blogging... i went to school to review calculus with camille and bettina. at least we reviewed some topics. halo-halo time in chowking was very memorable because of the old lady. mga manang: SAGOT!!! hahaha. the best part was when reena's mom texted her to get some papers at PAG-IBIG. so we walked under the heat of the sun. hahaha! the experience was once in a lifetime. mga manang na yan sa PAG-IBIG. then we went back to gokongwei to review again.

// i was shocked when ryan seacrest told millions of viewers that mandisa had to leave american idol. huhu.

// at last, i'll prove reena and camille that there exists a gospel of judas. i really wanna watch it this sunday. this will be a very good documentary.

///According to the Bible, Judas received 30 pieces of silver for the act, but died soon afterwards.
But the Gospel of Judas puts Judas in a positive light, identifying him as Christ's favourite disciple and depicting his betrayal as the fulfilment of a divine mission to enable the crucifixion - and thus the foundation of Christianity - to take place.
This view is similar to that held by the Gnostics - members of a 2nd Century AD breakaway Christian sect, who became rivals to the early Church.
They thought that Judas was in fact the most enlightened of the apostles, acting in order that mankind might be redeemed by the death of Christ.
As such they regarded him as deserving gratitude and reverence.
Gnostic writers are believed to have set down their contrasting account of Judas' role in Greek in about 150AD, and some believe that this manuscript may be a copy of that.
Records show that the leaders of the early Christian Church denounced that version as heretical in about 180AD.
The Gospel of Judas was found near Beni Masar in Egypt.
In 2000, the Maecenas Foundation for Ancient Art in Basel Switzerland took possession of the document and translation began soon afterwards.
National Geographic struck a publication deal with the foundation last year, thought to have cost $1m (£570,000).
In addition to the magazine article, the National Geographic TV channel will be running a special two-hour documentary on the manuscript on Sunday 9 April. ///
